General Summary
Repair team member position is open to all Eligible Kia Georgia Hourly Production Team Members.
In addition to the COS application, you must also be able to complete the Repair Knowledge Assessment Test.
Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities
After the General Assembly Repair Group Interest applications have been received and the Repair Knowledge Assessment has been completed, Department Management in conjunction with Human Resources and Team Relations will review all information gathered and determine which Team Members will be selected at this time for the Repair Group.
The Repair Knowledge Assessment will remain active for one year. Eligible TMs will be allowed to retake the assessment after one year has passed when there is a need for additional Production Team Members in the Repair Group.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Completed 1-year Length of Service as a Production Team Member at the time of opening. (Any Department)
- No active Corrective Action.
- Must have received a 75 or better on all evaluations within the past 12 months.
- Must have a Level 1 circle of skills for all jobs in your current section.
- Must be able to work independently, self-starter and motivator.
- Must be able to progress in the required training and skills development.
- May have to change shifts.
- Must be willing to work daily overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Support daily production requirements as needed, including but not limited to absenteeism support.
- Understand that if you are a current TL, you will move to Repair as a PTM.
- TM may have to adjust any scheduled PTO based on current shift needs.
