General Summary:
The Group Leader will train and lead team members on assigned projects and manage daily maintenance activities, as well as, providing team members with work standards.
Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor shop downtime and quality issues. Provide and improve quick solutions to reduce downtime.
- Direct and manage assigned maintenance team members.
- Confirm that all completed work and parts usage by your team is recorded in the SAP system.
- Study downtime data and ensure downtime is accurately recorded.
- Report DT and Quality issues to management.
- Achieve daily maintenance plans.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations.
- Prepare, provide, and enforce team members work standards.
- Evaluate maintenance team member’s skill level.
- Create, implement and report on training for assigned maintenance team members.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED along with two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years in related area of position.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, effective follow-up, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Experience with SAP system preferred.
- Knowledge of paint shop process and equipment technology preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with PLC programming (A/B or Siemens).
- Ability to understand schematics and specifications of electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with automation, design, installation, and repair of equipment.
