General Summary:

Responsible for information security at Kia Georgia, Inc.   
 

Essential Primary Duties and Responsbilities

  • Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks.
  • Act on privacy breaches and malware threats.
  • Identify and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
  • Monitor events and triage alerts across various security platforms.
  • Conduct vulnerability testing and risk analyses to assess security Anti-virus management, support, and deployment.
  • Serve as a security expert and conduct trainings when needed.
  • Draft information security policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in other areas of Corporate Services and IT when needed.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field along with two (2) to five (5) years’ technical experience within a manufacturing environment preferably in the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross functional relationships. 
  • Excellent project, computer, analytical and written communication skills.
  • Be able to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be willing to work varying hours and overtime to complete work assignments.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.
     

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Knowledge of computer network, security, hardware, and software applications. 
  • Knowledge of computer applications development and implementation. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with SAP system preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication and time management skills.
