General Summary:
Enhances product quality and operational efficiency within the organization. This position involves organizing, analyzing, and presenting data related to new and/or current model concerns and countermeasures, as well as coordinating various quality assurance programs and audits
Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive records of concerns raised during the development of new models. Regularly update countermeasure data to reflect the latest findings and resolutions. Ensure that all documentation is easily accessible for review by relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate the preparation of materials required for new model gate reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for presentations. Ensure that all presentation materials are clear, concise, and effectively communicate key points.
- Oversee the Audit+ program which includes conducting inspections, compiling reports, and preparing presentations. Work closely with audit teams to ensure compliance with quality standards. Analyze audit results to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
- Generate detailed reports on dealer claims data to identify trends and potential issues. Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover root causes of recurring problems. Distribute findings to relevant departments and assist in addressing requests for further analysis.
- Lead FMEA sessions for General Assembly processes to assess potential failure modes. Perform regular process audits to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Document findings from audits and propose corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with teams to investigate root causes of quality issues as they arise. Develop effective countermeasures based on investigation outcomes. Provide support in implementing solutions across relevant departments
- Manage records related to Quality Control Engineering vehicles ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Coordinate maintenance schedules for Quality Control Engineering vehicles to uphold operational readiness.
- Organize training sessions related to quality control engineering practices. Maintain up-to-date ISO documentation ensuring compliance with international standards. Facilitate training on ISO requirements for staff involved in quality management processes.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, or related field along with zero (0) to five (5) years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably within automotive manufacturing), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong planning, and organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Analytical problem solving and effective decision-making skills.
- Ability to multi-task and accomplish priorities within a designated time frame.
- Ability to work calmly and with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate well and work well with others.
- Broad understanding of automobile parts, assembly, and design and how these interrelate to the complete car and customer experience is desirable.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
- Possess technical skills and knowledge of quality control systems in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Understand Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Experience with SAP system preferred.
- Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and presentation applications and/or software
- Experience with managing programs and projects, use of Excel and other databases for processing and drilling down large amounts of data
