General Summary:
Support Team members with multiple procurement administration activities. Coordinate all purchasing related activities between KIA GEORGIA and Automobile Parts suppliers.
Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading department project reporting and timely completion of Procurement administration activities.
- Creation and management of department annual operating and investment budget reporting activities.
- Leading department documentation compliance activities in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain cost reduction status summary reporting activities, and material cost systems management.
- Leading compliance related summary reporting to strict deadlines for supply base with executive level reporting.
- Work closely with suppliers to optimize processes, with reporting creation of quality and delivery KPI performance.
- Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to production suppliers.
- Participate in purchasing related internal meetings, including making presentations to senior management.
- Maintain up to date supply base information across numerous database systems.
- Take charge of Value Advanced Automotive Trade Zone system interaction.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or operations management along with five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
- OEM or parts components supplier experience preferred.
- Long-term project planning, strategy development, and project management preferred.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
- Knowledge of supply chain, accounting processes and principles.
- Experience working in within a multinational organization.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Experience with SAP system preferred.
