Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist (Reimbursement)

General Summary:

Reclaim warranty expense from suppliers whose parts were responsible for necessitating a repair.  Assist in negotiating supplier Burden Ratios.  Track campaign and recall cost and reclaim from suppliers and design.

Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Process supplier responsible warranty claims for chargeback; negotiate warranty cost-sharing ratios with suppliers.
• Analyze claim data; develop and maintain programs to reduce warranty claim costs as it relates to reclaim.
• Develop detailed reports to track cost and reclaim for campaigns and recalls.
• Prepare detailed plans, reports, and schedules for the Quality Assurance Department.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field along with two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience in the engineering field in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong analytical problem solving skills and effective decision-making.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Experience with SAP system preferred.
• Bilingual in Korean and English (Verbal and Written Skills).
